Set in Baltimore in the late 1980s, “The Old Lady & The Boxer” tells the story of Joe Saturn, a former Texas roughneck on the run from his previous life and looking to evolve from brawler to professional boxer. A sharp-tongued old lady, Audrey, helps him rediscover his self-respect when he loses it in the ring. Joe is also guided by his celebrated boxing coach, ‘Alley-Oop’ Simpson, and Alley’s right hand man, Lenny.
